How bad is Hartford Volleyball?

Looking at the UAlbany-Hartford volleyball box score from Saturday, Hartford might have had the worst match of any team I have ever seen.

 

How did this team win even five matches?

 

The Hawks scored 19 points. The Great Danes made 25 total errors.

 

So, UAlbany gave Hartford more points than they actually scored on their own.

 

That is unbelievable. And really, really pathetic.

 

PS - earlier in the season when we concurred it was too early to call the Great Danes one of the best in the nation ... I think it's still that time, but you can definitely go ahead and call them a Northeast power.

 

(And no matter what anyone tells you, they'll never be a national power, unless a great earthquake swallows the West Coast. That's just how volleyball is).
