I see that beginning Monday, AM 590 radio will begin simulcasting WFAN's Mike & the Mad Dog program. Is this a good idea? Most everyone I know can already pick it up on WFAN or on YES. I really wish someone would put on a local sports talk show, the type that John Graney, Joe Hennessey or Yoffi Lombardo used to have. Wyland's show is on at a lousy time and barely spends any time on local stuff. When Wyland was on at night, I'd always listen the nite he had James Allen on covering high school football or hoop.
