Should be a major challenge against Syracuse obviously but hope we can hang w/ them to an extent. Key to this will be clogging up middle to stop Warrick & even Forth from having monster game. I would rather take our changes against McNamara having to drain the 3 as has been struggling as of late. Of course we have to be red hot on our 3's to keep it respectable. Putting a little scare into them would be nice as did w/ Villanova. Aside from St. John's, which will have long recovery ahead, it has been said that UAlbany may be biggest New York State threat to SU in the future. It would be sweet to someday take this giant. Also would like to see UAlbany play some higher profile non-league games in future at home (Pepsi Arena, etc). I will be at Pepsi Arena Tues night watching Vermont/Siena game as sorry Haddix is out as wanted to see if Vermont has risen above mid-major pack & what our chances would look like in knocking them off. Will be hard to measure as Siena really hurting & expect Vermont to have little trouble w/ them but who knows as why games are played. Also heard that UAlbany/SU game may be on TW3 replay Wednesday. If game was shown live, I definitely would forego Siena game to watch it.
