Close Games

Recommended Posts

One item of concern for me is that UAlbany is 0-6 in games decided by five points or less. Say, we won all those games, our record would be 15-4 overall and 9-1 in the conference. Pretty scary huh?? If that was the case, I think you would be looking at a sellout for the Vermont game, which is two weeks away.

Two overtime losses, a buzzer beater at Wagner where we were up 13 with about ten minutes to go and three-point losses at home against NU and BU.

AlbanyObserver - it is scary!

We have improved defensively as the season has progressed and defense will always keep a team in games.

Making shots is what makes decent teams good!!!!

Foul shooting over those 6 games was 76/113 or a poor 67%.

Three point shooting was worse 27/94 or 29%.

Over those 6 games we lost by a total of 17pts, we just have to shoot the ball better.

It's tough to lose to a good BU team on the road in overtime by 1 but it's easy to understand when Jamar, Lucious and Levi shoot 5 for 26 including 0 for 7 from 3.

When you're making shots your offense looks good when your missing it looks sh***y, it seems simplistic but it's the truth.
