Bob Weiner had a verynice story on the front page of the Gazette Sports Section (just under the article about Jack McClinton asking Siena for his release) about senior midfielder Lee Busino, from Niskayuna. He is considered our best defensive midfielder; takes most of our face-offs and runs the fast break. He does a lot of the significant things that do not show up on the score sheet. Coach Marr said he'd play Virginia's best offensive midfielder. Busino discusses Coach Marr's love for the game and how that inpires the players and Coach Marr discuss Busino's leadership qualities. The article includes (i guess you'd call it an anecdote - but that's a word I don't often use) that Busino has a Physics final at 10:30 this AM, which he will have to cut short because the team is leaving at noon; Busino says he'll be done with it by 10:35 and expects an A in the course. All in all a very nice article about a player who isn't ordinarily in the limelight.
