RACC Rowdies update?

How has the summer gone with the Rowdies - I think there was going to be activities with the new student orientation (could be wrong about that)?

I think it went pretty well. I gave out 43 Rowdies t-shirts to the freshmen (I have 2 left over). Also handed out these neat little glossy info sheets about the Rowdies that included highlight games of the upcoming Fall Sports season and the backside had the nice football schedule on it. It's the same version that's on the webpage that's selling football tix except on the bottom instead of giving the tix phone number, it says all UAlbany students get in free with their SUNY Card. So most of the students were really excited to get the schedule. Got a few more new students for the Rowdies email list.

 

I have hundreds of those flyers left, so if anyone can think of a good way/spot to get them (the flyers and the 2 t-shirts) out to the students, let me know. I plan on getting in touch with Residential Life to get some of them out during move-in weekend.
