Women's LAX recruit

Recommended Posts

If this sounds like I don't know what I'm talking about, it's because I don't. I've never been to a high school girl's lacrosse game and have only attended about 10 minutes of a UAlbany women's game once.

Today's Gazette has an article that Katie DeJoseph of Scotia-Glenville HS will be coming to UAlbany on a partial scholarship. She was the second leading scorer on her team last year. The leading scorer was current UAlbany freshman, Krissy Rajczak. Scotia Glenville was undefeated in the Capital District Women's Lacrosse League (CDWLL) and was a first team CDWLL all-star as a Junior and a second teamer as a Sophomore.

Rumor has it that the women's team is coming along this year-I hope to catch a game or too if it isn't all that cold. If you look at their website they seem to have a great freshman class for such a new program-although the season will show! Look to have a strong coaching staff based on the bio-intersting that we chose to go with a male. How many assistants are the given? Can't wait to see where some of these young programs are in a year or two-go danes! Hopefully they will take after Marr's teams....
