Not a reassuring quote

Albany, the favorite to win the league, is 1-5 and has lost five in a row.

 

"We have the pieces to the puzzle," Albany coach Will Brown said before the season. "We're not sure if we have the puzzle."

Definitely not reassuring but pretty honest.

 

Brown sometimes is too straightforward and honest.

 

We have most of the pieces but it seems we lack leadership.

 

If you don't count the three big game (2 out west and Florida) we're 1-2 in games we should have won and been competitive.

 

1. Sacred Heart we have the last posession we get the ball in bounds and into the hands of a pre season All Conference selection and we don't even get a shot off.

 

2. At Siena we get the ball in bounds to our best player and it results in nothing.

 

3. This team lacks leadership (at this time of the season). I'm hoping that if Lillis gets back and if Brent gets healthy one of those two Sophs or both will become our leaders. Jamar, Lu and Levi are very good competitors and players but they relly have not shown much in the way of leadership.

 

In my opinion if we get leadership we can put the puzzle together.
