Said all the Albany coaches called today, and like after the Lehigh game, said the hardest things about coaching are getting back up after a big loss, and coming back down after a big win.

 

The 17-play UD drive was, to the crowd, 'like feeding chum to the sharks'. The noise was deafening during the final drive.

 

Defense and kicking games had played fairly well the first two games, but the offense hadn't found its identity. It may have found it Saturday.

 

A Washington Redskins scout was here today, looking at Barksdale and two others. Ford spoke well of how fast Barksdale has progressed.

 

Disch had 15 tackles, but he hasn't yet won the team's LB of the week. Also Andre Coleman, who Ford called a 'pro suspect', hasn't won D Lineman of the week yet.

 

The Fordham game is so close that it won't be hard to remind the players of what can happen.
