1. Nobody wants to be considered a low major - even if it's true.

2. If you do want to have a low major category, I am not sure if your definition is consistent - I quickly found one conference that is a one bid conference that was not represented (I assume they will be in the mid major category).

 

If your intent was to differentiate your rankings, I might suggest mid major regional rankings - that would create a lot of positive buzz as regional mid majors typically play each other throughout the season. While you and the other contributors may feel like you've done a good thing, I disagree - especially in an area where there are two competitive "mid major" teams.

 

Unfortunately, I think the low major idea is not the right way to do rankings. There were a couple of things in the write up that weren't as accurate as they could be - but IMO, the entire concept is flawed.
