Final 4 - Kinda

Those in the Atlanta area may know the 'Cheetah'. It's a midtown landmark... it's also a gentlemen's club. File this story under "wacky news". The cheetah is huge and they broadcast every NCAA game this time of year. Apparently, a girl represented each school during the games. The patrons voted for the girls during the breaks. Albany made it to the final four!

 

In case your wondering, no I wasn't there. I was hosting UAlbany's viewing party across town. It was quite the success but unfortunetly the success on the screen wasn't as good as final four.

 

The good news in all this is that "Albany" doesn't attract blank stares like it did even a year ago. Non New Yorkers know nothing about the school but the name does ring a bell.
