Danes Lose Another Tough One

Recommended Posts

Oh, the pain! We fight back from a lackluster first half and an 18pt. deficit to gain the lead and we are up by three and we wind up fouling Munir on a drive to the basket for a three point play with 6 seconds on the clock! Levi gets a good look concidering the situation with time running out, a very deep three, and cannot connect.Game goes to O.T. and the rest is history.Tough, gritty performance by basically six players.........Martin hardly played and looked dazed and confused on the court. Hopefully he can fight his way through this as we surely could use him if only to give someone a breather. The Danes appeared leg wary in O.T. as to be expected.

Fouling Munir was a major mistake.........either give him the deuce or hack him hard enough that you guarantee he doesn't make the hoop and send him to the foul line. A foul like that in that situation is totally unacceptable.

When are we going to get a break?

Marachuk.........Oh, it makes the pain worse losing to him. It woulda been great to come back down from 18 and put it on his noggin.....

Kudos to the Danes players tenacity and heart and great job by the coaching staff of making adjustments at halftime.

Oh, the pain!
