Ames, Ia. - Trent Flander hit four free throws in the final minute - including a pair with five seconds remaining in the nonconference game - as 10th-ranked Dowling beat seventh-ranked Ames.

 

Brian Lillis scored 19 points to lead Dowling Catholic. Austin Reichardt hit four three-point goals and added 14 points while Flander contributed 13 points.
