Since the FCS playoffs are expanding in 2010 (with the NEC and Big South getting an AQ that year) the NCAA has proposed some changes to the playoff format.

 

Essentially what they are proposing is having the FCS championship the night before the BCS championships.

Of note is that the opening round, which the NEC is likely to fall into the first season (conference strength) will have both games on national TV with an ESPN game and an ESPNU game.

 

How awesome would it be to win the NEC in 2010 and play the first round game on ESPN? You think the TU would wake up then?
