Valete Graham jumped 24 ft. 9 1/2 inches today to shatter the outdoor school record in the long jump and miss the Meet Record by 1 centimeter.

 

Wilfredo de Jesus broke his own school record by almost 10 feet in the Hammer Throw to easily win with a mark of 200 ft. 3 inches.

 

Both qualify for IC4A championships and NCAA East Regionals. I think this mark puts Valete in the top 25 long jumpers in the country.

 

Men went 1-2-3-6-7 in the long jump to lead the way for the men on day 1.
