Albany-Siena Rivalry in the 1970s

The article is interesting with two annoying errors. Gary Holle played in 'round robin' tournaments (also known as the Capitol District Christmas Tournament) against Albany State, Union, and RPI. St. Rose didn't even have a D-5 program at that time. And the score of the final (played February 3,1977) Albany-Siena game was not 66-58 as the poorly researched article says, but 62-49.

This is only the second new-era Albany-Siena game I'll be missing. I hope they don't need me to win. I'll be watching on ESPN3.

For no other reason than the fun of the rivalry, God, I love to hate Siena.

Best of luck.
