Fourth-seeded St. Francis (NY) lost to fifth-seeded Quinnipiac in the Northeast Conference Tournament Quarterfinals on Thursday by a score of 80-72.

St. Francis (NY) lost their last three games of the season, and five of their last seven, and finished the season at .500 (15-15).

 

This is notable for UAlbany because St. Francis (NY) had been the only team with a winning record that the Danes has beaten on their way to accumulating 18 wins.

Now it will take an upset in the conference tournament for this year's team to have a victory against a winning team.
