Couldn't find reports anywhere today, but last night TV-13 did a story on the UAlbany athletic awards banquet. McElroy said that Doc Sauers was going to take a position as assistant to a VP of athletics and would be involved in fundraising, alumni contact, etc.

 

Meanwhile, to replace him the university will be hiring a full-time women's golf coach.

 

McElroy also said in passing that stadium construction was ahead of schedule and hoped the good weather would continue.
