Name Change?

This article in passing says Albany Nano Tech is the new name for the University at Albany College of Nanotechnology and Engineering.

 

A very scary outcome dropping UA from the name.

It was bound to happen. The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering at University at Albany isn't exactly a catchy name and is either is CSNE.

 

I do wish it was UAlbany Nano Tech.

I take it that the name's actually unchanged - "Albany NanoTech, formally known as the University at Albany College of Nanoscale Science & Engineering" - not "formerly" - if they actually got that right.

 

No change on the CSNE Home Page

 

But yeah I'd rather the U be part of the informal name when branding it.

Sorry guys. A quick read on the iPhone as I'm trying to get myself and my 6 month old out of the house for the day.

 

I guess part of me expects this name change to happen sooner or later so I was triggered for the response.
