Just lost...awfully stupid play to foul the dude in the box....almost got away with it on a free kick instead of a PK...but alas, we lose. Nice effort. Have to think the new stadium will help recruiting a ton.

Wish there was another camera there to see if the guy took a fall - the camera view was same as ref who could not have seen the actual contact. Regardless, I think this was an overachieving team and we'll see good things on the way.

Agreed on the overachieving and bright future.

 

That said, irrespective if the guy went down on a dive...that's almost a card no matter what as the Albany player's leg kicked near the player's head and that's almost always considered a dangerous act. He could have been carded and that would have been a PK. The ref instead chose discretion and went with the free kick.
