Your list is getting long....
Literally every school is going through this transfer nonsense so I don’t know what you’re trying to prove trying to take shots at all the transfers.
Agree that DK hasn’t shown he can coach and he’s running out of time to prove it, but I’m confident he will bring in all conference caliber players as he’s done every year. -

I’m saying the fact everyone is leaving is a joke. This program is a laughing stock right now.
If you avg 15+ a game you would be silly not to enter the portal to try to go up. Why sit on bus trips and play in the America East.
DK might not be able to figure it out here, but he can sure was able to recruit. Somehow turned Jameel Horton into a first team all conf/ defensive player of the year. Brought in Matt Ceruti who was a 3rd teammer. Neely ROY, Redish all rookie team. Perry would have been all conference if he didn’t get injured. Beagle ROY. Thomas 2nd team, Marshall 3rd team.
I don’t doubt for a second he can bring in some more all conference players. We just don’t know if he knows how to coach in game.

My interest level in this program has dropped to the point that I watched maybe 4 games this year when previously, even in down years, I wouldn't miss a game unless I had prior plans with the family. I used to put together trips with 8-10 alumni friends (lucky to still have a big group from the UA days!) up for games and to road games that were near the NYC area. Now I bring it up and get crickets. Benson has completely ruined the good will, no pun intended, of the WB years and the championships. Alumni, not just the diehards on here, finally cared and were proud of the program and the school. My alumni friends were donating more than I thought they ever would. All of that is gone and Benson needs to find a coach that can rebuild this program because it is not Killings. Until that happens, I will follow but my support will be minimal. Call me a fair weather fan if you want but I have better things to do than support a program and a coach and an AD I do not believe in anymore.
Fair weather in deed, but that’s fair.

Vermont without 2 players today, or did I hear that wrong?
So is Albany.

There have been no announcements to my knowledge on the resolution of the lawsuit and/or the stage that the lawsuit is at.
If so, the local media would have picked up on it and/or a positive outcome for the university, the university would have resulted in a brief news release.
In regard to heading in the right direction, yes, many people that I talked to, including myself felt the team was headed in the right direction in the out of conference schedule. The team chemistry started to breakdown with UMass-Lowell and continued to dissolve over the conference schedule. What I witness from my view from in the stands across the UAlbany bench is something I will not forget. When Marcus Jackson could not settle Beagle down, I strongly felt Beagle was headed to the door before the end of the season.
For three seasons, I have watched Dwayne Killings demonstrate he is not a DI basketball coach.
I agree he has not shown himself as a head coach. I also don’t think it makes any sense to fire him either just yet. He’s got the two years left? Let it play out and maybe something clicks if not see ya. People so staunch about canceling their season tix here feels like it’s more of a axe to grind because they just don’t like DK.
-
Jeez how many people ended up canceling football season tickets over the years up until this season.
Has DK been cleared of everything from the lawsuit? If so it’s done and over with. Don’t know what other dramas he’s brought. I do know at one point in the season people here thought Albany basketball was heading in the right direction. To say that Beagle quitting would have no effect on the results we are seeing now I have to disagree with.

Thomas near triple double.
Newton 5-5 from the field and 11 reb.
Even without Beagle I think they can beat anyone as well as lose to anyone.

So after all this Beagle nonsense they still have a chance to finish in the top half.

It was liked by Ryan Daly. I’m guessing this tweet is nothing and an inside joke with his coach not passing when practicing with them.

They’ve beaten everyone they should have. Too bad they let that Quinnipiac (9-3) game slip away. Steal one at Harvard, could be looking at a close to 20 win season.

Siena needs to go spend the money if they have it on a high major assistant.

Explain.
They need to wipe it clean. Bringing in WB is not wiping it clean. I think the way of it now for these small mid majors are to find young coaches who are looking to move on and not settle. DK has a good year this year he’ll be good as gone. Bring in the next.
I’m all for it though. Would love to see Albany beat him every year.

Siena can’t even get out of their own way with that hire.

Absolutely love this response. Wish more people were like this today and we could get past the weak culture we are breeding.
Should have sued the school.

Would be nice to steal one of the next two games against some better teams in Temple and Drexel.

This Albany roster is easily the most athletically gifted I’ve ever seen since following.
-
Does Albany have any aspirations to move up to FBS one day?
-
And beagle is staying. Had a feeling this could end up happening. Literally everyone is in the portal regardless at the end of the season

So from a facilities stand point in the AE is there anything we can add to make us more attractive to a potential recruit?
Playing time. Most obvious one.

Getting paid more to play at Deleware.

You don't have to look too far to find an example:

This one is explainable. He sat out a full year before coming to Albany. Then left Albany without sitting due to Covid year. Assuming he graduated when at UMass and when you graduate you can transfer again no restrictions. I’m assuming he graduated at some point 😂

Except it's every single year...it's insane.
I believe you get one transfer without having to sit out? If you transfer a second time then you have to sit out? Is that right? Drumgoole wont have too only because he graduated?

You try again next year to learn something from this and keep moving forward. It was just a disaster last year, the legal issues, Neely tearing up knee...some rough recruiting. No doubt about it, it was horrible but what choice does he have but try and do better?
Although not a huge deal, but not playing on your home games at home has to have some affect.

Never has any other teams recruiting been discussed on this forum. You can say the same thing for any Albany team in the past then.
