Its Ruler...Just logging in at 7979 from my summer home's computer.

Where to begin, Dane 96 and I believe Reeder were correct in their assesment.

1 Bazan can fly...could be playing at higher level...gotta get him involved running the ball when Uli gets back

2 Secondary got crushed...will not see recrs that fast again this year

3 Hofstra better then advertised but not great.

4 Team speed all to Hofstra...they can fly at every position

5 I was impressed we matched up well sizewise on both sides of ball.We are pretty big as a team. Held the running game within reason.

6 Fantall is a quality RB...so is Vidal...will do well against NEC

All in all after speaking with Fordie if they are gonna play with the big boys, they need big boy type money. I believe we will be fine with NEC play but outside of Brown our OOC games could be ugly. We need to step up with scholarship football or stop playing these games.

Was sitting with assistant coaches from Central, SBU, and Monmouth...they are still terrified of Bazan and Albany. Eeven with the lopsided loss still think we are the team to beat. SBU coach was scared at how much better Hofstra is then they thought. Besides they are going to Lehigh this weekend....Gulp!

We have to beat Brown or we are going to be 1-4 after Lehigh!

I didn't really like Bazan throwing the ball at all. He will really be tough to stop running the option in the NEC-If I were an opposing coach I would be worried too. Delgado has a much better arm.

Didn't see anything on how bad Vidal was hurt-hopefully he'll be back next week. Fantell looks bigger than last year. He should be really good in the future. It's a pretty good backfield when Dustin Wilson is the 3rd or 4th back. I really like that Craig Walls (#40) kid. He made things happen everytime he touched the ball.

I didn't expect much from the offense last night but I really thought the defense would make a better showing. No pass rush made Seck look like Brett Farve. No matter how good the DBs are you can't cover a guy for that long without him getting open.

I was expecting (as was GD84) Bocanegra to come in off the bench. In retrospect it probably would have been seen as a sign of panic. If Delgado came come back and pass Bazan can come in and run the option for a 1-2 punch that should terrorize defense in the NEC. Really a tough way for Bazan to start although it won't get much easier next week.
