Levi suspended

Doug Sherman reported tonight that Levi Levine was suspended by UAlbany for 2 games for violation of team rules.

Assume it's related to the technicals and if he did or didn't make an obscene gesture last night. He will be back for the Hartford game on 12/18.

Nothing comes easy for the Danes. I think we are affected by the Beeten curse.

 

Dyson was out of practice for almost 3 weeks

 

"Q" had a high ankle sprain which limited him for over a week

 

Jamar was out for game 1

 

Lillis will be out atleast 4 weeks and may have to red shirt.

 

Zoellner hurt himself stretching before the Lehigh game.

 

We blow two winnable games

 

Levi (self destructs) is now suspended for 2 games. Shame on Levi he really is hurting his team.

 

Good move by Brown and the Administration. I'm assuming they were both in on this decision.

Athletics does not develop character, it reveals it.

 

Coach Brown's decision to suspend Levi or any other player is commendable. The coach jeopardizes his own success and career by dimishing his team's performance. By establishing rules and then sticking by his own convictions, though, he's fulfilling his responsibility as a teacher.

 

As a Dane fan, it's disappointing to face opponents with less than our best. Hopefully by the time we begin pay within the AE everyone will have matured and such suspensions will become unnecessary.

I think Brown understands that this is about competing in conference. He can suspend Levi - maybe this makes the team better.

 

The conference games are the ones that counts - Levi can't hurt the team like this when he returns and those games really count.
