replay of Maine game

Recommended Posts

RACC Rowdies,

Thanks for the great spirit and enthusiasm you provided for the Maine game. Your attitude has increased other fans' enthusiasm and probably increased awareness for the whole program through comments made by players and coaches. Congratulations!

Thanks also for using my suggestions for the Zoellner sign. I tried to thank the holder(s) of the sign after the game, but I did not get over to the right spot. I hope your efforts on behalf of Kirsten made him feel good about his role on the team.

Thanks for the help with the sign. My girlfriend and I made it the night before and she held it during the game. She told me that while I was getting the t-shirts to pass out and the team was doing their lay-up drills, she yelled out Kirsten and held up the sign. She said he looked over, squinted a bit to read it, and got a HUGE smile on his face and pointed to the sign saying "yay!" or something to that effect. Pretty good reponse coming from a kid who doesn't tend to show too much emotion. Success! :D

Ahhh, well that makes a bit more sense! We're not sure if he understood the second sign (admitedly I didn't color in the bubble letters as well..yes, I got a bit lazy and tired :P ).

Do you have any suggestions that might work for tomorrow's game that we could make? Are there any natural German phrases that might go well?

Thanks!
