Kurt Campbell, LB/S, Albany (6-1, 225) 7th Round, 245th pick, Green Bay Packers

 

Campbell is a bit of an unknown after tallying just 34 tackles for the Mid- Major Danes, but his stock rose after running a 4.42 40-yard dash at his pro day. Campbell is described as a "rover" in Albany’s 4-4 defense, and is projected to play either weak-side linebacker or strong safety for the Packers. It’s a big jump from Albany to the pros, and without a true position Campbell could take some time to adapt at Green Bay. But he has great athletic ability and can play multiple positions as a backup, and will need to make some contributions on special teams as well to hang on with the Packers.
