Recruit Joy Sterling was named MVP of her local all-star game. She had 8 points, 7 boards and 6 steals.

 

When she signed in the fall she was announced as a 6 foot forward. I remember someone, maybe Voice, talking about her vertical leap and that she could get over the rim. I assumed she would be playing small forward or power forward. In the article about her all-star game she said she expects to be playing a lot of guard in college and that she has to sharpen up her outside shooting.
