Any feedback from the Golf outing?

I did..a bit of rain in the very beginning but it cleared up and ended up pretty nice. McElroy said coaches from all 19 of our teams were there. Pretty fun event.

Yes I did. They raised between 20-30K. Coach Sheffield is very high on our transfer from Colorado St. All of our basketball recruits are good stdents as well as players (for those that think that's an issue for the contract extension delay. Coach Marr is also excited about his incoming recruits. Wemight take the AE trophy for overall performance. It depends on baseball playoff results.

Also heard we might have a purple gold bb game homecoming weekend, prior to football game. Hopefully VB match after FB game. UCONN and Syracuse are coming to UA for VB. First LAX game on new field is scheduled to be Siena. It's late Feb, so that remains to be seen.

If we're going to get criticized on laxpower.com for abusing the 19 point mercy rule, it might as well be in our first game on the new field.

I guess P&G game would be day of Sacred Heart football game. That's Oct. 15. BB practice can start @ 7PM on the 14th. VB plays UMBC @ 7

Can't remeber if it was posted on this board yet or not, but the Siena game is confirmed for Saturday Dec. 3rd as annouced at the Golf Tournament.

I heard the Siena game will be an early afternoon (Noon or 1:00 PM) start. Is that consistent with what anyone else heard? What time do the downtown bars open on Saturday mornings?

The Victory Cafe, at least, opens at 11 on Saturday mornings when there are events downtown.
