Varsity Club/tailgating?

I haven't been to a game yet this season. Are there Varsity club pre-game festivities ala basketball season? If not, whose tailgate can I crash (i'll go for the beer)?

There was a tent before the Hofstra game. For Homecoming, 20 spots were reserved for VC members in the RACC lot - contact Carmelina. I don't know if there's a tent as well.

 

I saw that the ad in today's paper said the lot opened for tailgating at 10:00. Given the expected weather I don't figure on TG but I'll make it for the game.

There's a tent for Varsity Club members at all home football games. Saves waiting in those loooong concession lines.

Alum73 - I know this belongs in a different string, but while I'm thinking of it - do you know if Sean Leahy is the son of UAlbany Hall of Fame catcher , Jack Leahy '73?

They had beer included at the Hofstra game, but the tent was closed before halftime.

No I don't know for sure, but I know his dad is an alum of UA.

 

I imagine that tent is going to be very popular today. The food might be gone by halftime, but I may still be in there the whole game!!
