Terrible Newspaper coverage

Recommended Posts

The Times Union, The Record and The Gazette all ran a Jamar Wilson story and mentioned the game.

They should of had two separate stories.

There was plenty to write about, Pipikis plays a great game (for him) and is a side light, 2500 in attendance an afterthought, Levi keeps his double figure streak alive not mentioned, Todd Martin's first double figure game as a Dane, and Iati's clutch free throws seal the deal ( how many have we lost on the foul line in the last minute ove the last few years.

There may not be to many games with so many positives this year and all three papers choose to Highlight Jamar's injury.

If and when we struggle what will they write about.

I didn't stay up to watch the late news last night (had to get to bed early to rest up for shoveling) but Fox Sports did the same thing. Jamar Wilson out for the season, oh yeah, the Danes also won. Probably can blame unfortunate timing. Fox had interviews with Jamar and Brown and then like 10 seconds on the game. I realize it's a big story but it's too bad it all happened on the same night.
