My UAlbany Alumni magazine went out with the recyclables yesterday, and now some $iena schmuck is getting the vapors because he says 2 BB players flipped the bird at the camera. I missed it, apparently the cameraman and editor also missed it, so I'm wondering how big this picture is, or if this guy is checking the pic with a magnifying glass instead of, like, having a life.

 

Even so, it's not like this hasn't happened hundreds of times on baseball cards, yearbook photos, etc.

Unless I'm missing something, the only photo that has any more than 2 players clearly in frame is the team shot with everyone wearing the "Why not us?" shirts prior to the UConn game.

 

There are 2 players clearly flashing some sort of sign right in the first row of the shot. The picture is also on the athletic department's 2006 basketball year in review site here.

 

It is nowhere NEAR 2 players flipping off the camera, and if it was, the cameraman would have to be blind to have missed it.

It's Jamar and Bauman giving the sign...but it is not the shocker...who knows why and what it means..but it is no big deal.
