Clark Francis and Hoopscoop has printed their final edition of the Top 1000 for 2006.

 

Take all these rankings with a grain of salt but.....

Yocum is a fifth year player ranks 83rd on a list of the Top 150 5th year players

 

Ross and Knight are JCs

 

Lance James - is not listed but is listed but is rated 2 stars on Scout

I'm curious about the ranking for James. I suspect because he changed schools late in his high school career that some schools and recruiting services may have lost track of him. He certainly seems like a better player than that ranking. How often do you hear people talking about a guy 5'11 who plays above the rim?

 

I liked this quote about him from his high school coach:

 

"He's got the grades, he's humble and he's a great player. Let me put it this way, if my son turns out like Lance, then I'm doing okay."
