Team Leaders

I came across this and was wondering what others thought. Pay no attention to the headline writer not being clear that Haddix plays for Siena.

On the surface these two are the team leaders. Jamar currently holds "star" status after last year...I hope he realizes we don't need more from him other than focusing on making the guys around him better.

As for Haddix, he will need to fit into a new system under a new coach. Although just as valuable on the court as Jamar he may be in a more difficult position lead.

I'm inviting comments from Siena fans here.

Just because this is the closest thread related right now, I found this article on the CHN website. It lists the top 100 college basketball players in the country right now. Jamar is in the "next in line" group..effectively as the 107th player. No $iena players on the list...although Kojo Mensah is ranked 85, but we know from our friends at LHS that it's not a big loss at all.

I'm curious how they can have so many freshman on that list. How can they be the top 100 college players if they've never played a game in college?

In any event, great for Jamar to make the list. Hopefully he's higher at the end of the year.
