With all this stadium BS it easy to forget that we are in the middle of spring ball.

 

Anyone made any trips to practice?

 

As usual, I haven't seen a single story in the Times Union and besides the intro story on UAlbany sports....nothing.

 

 

Anybody have any updates?

Wish somebody knew about this. Controlled scrimmage today

 

Nicomini tore two knee ligaments Wednesday, had surgery today. More surgery scheduled, out indefinitely

That is a savage injury. He may be done for the year or maybe worse. What a blow. Not many 6'3 225 safties at this level.

He's a kicker indeed.

 

That 42 yarder would have been good from 5 or maybe even 10 more.

 

A good kicker is such an asset, and he's a freshman so we'll have him a few more years.

Interesting tidbit at the end that Ford is hopeful Nicomini will be ready for the season and that he was moving from safety to LB.

 

 

Must have been a slow sports day at the TU, we got 2 articles on UA sports in one day! Siena must not have submitted what their players had for dinner early enough to meet the story/printing deadline.
