Varsity Club Open House reminder

The University at Albany Alumni Association invites you to renew your commitment to Great Danes athletics by renewing your Varsity Club membership. Come to the Varsity Club Open House on Wednesday, August 19, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. to make your donation, pick you your T-shirt and enjoy a barbeque with fellow Varsity Club members. While you are on campus watch the UAlbany football and Giants practices. The UAlbany football team practices from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and the Giants practice starts at 6:05 pm. If you can’t attend the open house, please print the attached renewal form, complete it and mail it to Alumni House, 1400 Washington Ave, Albany, N.Y., 12222.

 

Plans are underway for new Varsity Club benefits. Get up close and personal with coaches and players at the Varsity Club Luncheon Series. On September 17, hear Coach Bob Ford and Coach Will Brown discuss their teams, their strengths and their upcoming opponents. In December connect with women’s basketball coach, Trina Patterson and Coach Will Brown right before the UAlbany vs. Siena showdown. We also are planning a bus trip and pregame party to Syracuse and are awaiting conference schedules to book other bus trips.

 

Your donation of at least $100 to the Great Danes Fund adds monies to the base of athletic scholarships, continues to allow for facility upgrades and enhances recruiting budgets. Your commitment to the Varsity Club also can help further UAlbany athletics by building our fan base and showing support for our UAlbany teams at home and on the road. A donation at the Varsity Club level can help you stay connected through special pregame athletic events, UAlbany trips to away games and much more. As a thank you for your donation, you will receive a host of benefits including access to Varsity Club luncheons, pregame activities, and a Varsity Club T-shirt!
