I am annoyes that Miles Austin says Garfield H.S. instead of Monmouth on Sunday Night football intros.

I hope our future NFL players say U Albany.

So, you've noticed that too! Why on earth would he NOT mention Monmouth? I assume he graduated.

Some guys do it that went to big-time colleges too. It just so happened that Austin was the only one who said it last night.

The way I see it, the college programs have given these players a national stage to showcase their talents,

opening up doors that would have never been opened. I see it as a sign of respect for them to mention their alma maters. Maybe Miles is doing it to avoid embarassing Monmouth because he's dropped so many passes this season
