Women's tennis loses to Siena

Siena wins 4 singles matches, Albany wins 2 singles and all three doubles matches, yet siena listed as a 4-3 winner. Don't doubles count as much?

Seems to me that the final scoring should be 5-4 UAlbany.

I just read up on the tennis rules.

 

Each singles match is worth one point. Whichever team wins the most doubles matches, only receives 1 point.(instead of each doubles match being worth 1 point) This rule only applies to Division I.

 

All other divisions use a normal, fair scoring system, with every match, single or double, being worth 1 point each. It seems that DI changed its rules recently for some reason.

 

Sunday vs $iena... in reality, we won 5 matches, they won 4. With the exception of bizarro rule changes, we won the day in my opinion.

 

Question is.... do we include this result in our overall head to head competition count or not?

If the situation were reversed, would you consider it a loss? I would say it's a loss. We won't have many, so I can live with it.
