New Balance- I have very intimate details of their operations because they used to be my top client in my previous career and my closest female friend is the former head of marketing. The ownership of NEW BALANCE is NOTORIOUSLY CHEAP!!!!! Cheap is an understatement, so this is a huge coup for BU.

 

Why can BU forge this relationship and donation with a non-alum, in a non-revenue producing sport...but our admins can't get a $3mm donation from anyone other than SEFCU (according to what we have been told over the years). $24 million for this state-of-the art stadium and parking garage that sits a mere 1,000 people.

 

With $3mm more, we could have gotten the permanent lower endzone bowl...
