Steward is likely to get the start in goal. If Haiti beats Trinidad, Steward and Haiti will join all 10 South American National Teams, the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and Jamaica for a MASSIVE tournament in the U.S. in June-July, the Copa Centenario. It's the 100th Anniversary Tournament of the S. American Championship and to honor it (and make boat loads of cash) they decided to invite SIX CONCACAF teams to the tourney and hold in for the first time in N. America.

 

The finals are in Met Life Stadium in Jersey, and all matches will take place at 60,000 seat plus stadiums.

 

It's a major deal in the soccer world...and a great opportunity for Steward to make another leap for the Purple Family.

 

He currently plays for the Atlanta Silverbacks of the NASL (Second Division in the U.S.)

Steward started and shut-out a tough Trinidad team, the Haitian National team is off to the Copa America. It's a pretty big upset for Haiti as Panama and Trinidad were expected to go through.
