I can only hope Patch was having some fun when he suggested Albany move to the MAAC on the $iena board. It's a slight upgrade in basketball but a long fall-off in the rest of the sports compared to the AE.

I haven't checked but I imagine in every sport outside of men's basketball the AE ranks considerably higher than the MAAC.

On the other hand think of all the MAAC commisioners cups and NCAA bids we'd win...
