have tried this year to only comment after the game.  So that I can watch the whole game and make my assessment then.

However, this team is HORRENDOUS on defense.  They don't want to play it or care to play it.

Newton is a 10 minute a game guy tops ....tops.... they need to play extremely small and run without Beagle.

This has been evident all season...

    What happened with Beagle?

Went out at UVM with no apparent injury, did not go back into game or come out at all. Today not dressed, and DK said will speak to his status after the game. Looks like kid either quit or getting tossed off team, not sure.

Just messaged with someone who said Beagle isn’t even in the building (also told click the same). Wyland reporting the same.

I had some time to sleep on my Vermont rant. And I’m still not sold on Killings as a head coach, recruiter and lead assistant yeah.

With that in mind, he’s got 6-7 guys he can still build around if they stay.  If they do, he need to get an anchor big in the middle and a stretch four.  After that, a backup pg and back up wing.  You can do well with that group.

And a 2 months defensive clinic class.

  4. Beagle while a good offensive player, is immature and aweful on defense. If he's gone...so long! Unless there is a health issue or something else very personal and not related to basketball...move on.

If there is life stuff going on and the kid is dealing with something unrelated to basketball, wish him the best otherwise, like D said, no one is above team. Move along!

My concerns about Jonathan Beagle started with the UMass-Lowell game.  I am not sure if he has an issue with Killings and/or one or more of the assistants and/or one or more of his team mates.  He just not seems to be himself.  I know Marcus Jackson tried speaking with him during the Bryant game on the sidelines and Jonathan would have nothing to do with the talk.  Whatever the issue, I strongly feel Marcus Jackson knows because these two are the closest of friends as I never see one without the other.

I hope Jonathan does not have a game fatigue.

I'm in the camp that I'm ok if Beagle decides to transfer...good offensive player, decent rebounder, immature, a complete zero on defense. This team has some talent but poorly coached, some kids have not panned out or are unhealthy, the rest are pressing and not getting put into a position to succeed. I do think Dk is a decent recruiter but it's pretty obvious he's a $iena coach.

Considering how Jonothan played defense last night, no surprise.  During the preseason, much discussion by Killings on the importance of defense.  Last night, our defense never left the locker room.  There was little or no weak side defense.

Beagle is one of if not the worst defenders on the team. This team would be far better with a bruising, defensive, rebounding 5 and Beagle moving to the 4 where he can score and pass. He's a complete zero on the defensive end.

Very happy for Poffenbarger.  I live in South Florida so will definitely get to Hard Rock stadium for a game or two.

Also, just a great story.  He walks on at ODU, transfers to us and is in a QB battle before being named the starter.  Then leads us to the best performance in school history before transferring to a P5.

People can knock the transfer portal and there are some issues with it but clearly someone missed on his evaluation and the transfer portal is giving him a chance to chase his dreams.  Not sure how successful he’ll be but I’m rooting for him.

Not knocking it...good for him, he's earned it. Go get yours young buck!
