I'm old enough to remember our first win against a fully funded Delaware (if memory serves), moving up from the NEC and even getting a game against Griz. I know many of you go even further back. I remember the $ienaty field we played on the almost completely flat rusted wooden benches where you couldn't see over the metal fence. etc. It's been a minute. So when they wonder why we only draw 2.5k a game, especially after the decade of wilderness it's been moving up to the CAA. Winning breeds interest, we haven't had much of that last decade. Have to compete against pro sports in every direction a few hours away etc. It's tough out there...

We've also been through some LEAN years for a decade with Gattuso. I'm loving all the smack talk, because honestly, it's all gravy at this point for this fan. If it ends this weekend, it was a hell of a ride. If it keeps going, that would be incredible. All joking aside, I like reading the opposing fans message board, it's all good fun. If we get worked...I may have to post the congratulations to them here, tip my cap and ask one of them to post over there. Not gonna spend $8 for a post. They've been a good sport, I expect smack talk. In fact, I would think less of their fan base if they didn't talk $iena. 

Again, all joking aside, they aren't the 4th seed because they stink. They can be explosive and I hope we are prepared and I think UA will be. Let the chips fall where they may and...

NCAA.com ranking remaining 8 teams. Albany 3rd behind SDS and Montana. For what it's worth (not much) Idaho 6th. Imagine if we were actually tested all season like Idaho was. Again, for whatever it's worth, have to still step on the field and prove it. There are no easy games going forward. Everyone is elite here.

Hof, thanks for your work on tracking recruits. Do you get the sense that this playoff run is paying off on the trail with the caliber of recruit we are going after or getting commitments or to early to tell? I'm hopeful we can parlay this into some studs and keep building on this success.

Two FBS teams better than the bottom of the barrel FBS team they beat, continuing disrespecting our giant wins against two playoff teams, one in the quarters in 'Nova. I'd like someone to explain to me how UA has played a cream puff schedule. Granted, I know we didn't play the 3-8 Idaho St. nor did we challenge ourselves against 0-11 Northern Colorado, 3-8 Cal Poly, barely .500 Webber St and Lamar. But they are tested...we are not. Clowns... they disrespect us, let them...honestly I find their fans really really dumb. One wonders how our players will adjust to a 3 hour time change...lol...played in Hawaii, did OK but will probably not be able to adjust in Idaho. 

Their coach on us....experts on Idaho board, these guys suck.

QB comparison, their guy is a freshman, ours is a sophomore. I believe from reading their board their guy missed a few games towards tail end of the season but looks pretty good.

They don't care much for our run game and think we only throw...Their #1 guy vs our guy...funny they both wear 28. Their O line is allegedly banged up but who isn't this time of year?

- Lamar 6-5 Lamar (W)

- Nevada 2-10 (W) - one of the $ienaiest teams in FBS. According to CBS, there are 133 FBS teams, they are 3rd from the bottom, only Akron and Kent St. ranked worse then them. This is their awesome FBS win. By comparison, Hawaii is 109 and Marshall 88. But yes, we have never seen a defense like this. 

- Cali 6-6 (L) Got worked for 3 quarters after a good 1st quarter. Nice game...

- Sacramento State 8-5 (W) decent win close game

- Eastern Washington 4-7 (W) close game against mehh

- Cal Poly 3-8 (W) stiff competition

- Montana 11-1 (L) close loss to a great team

- Montana St. 8-4 (W) this is a nice win, their best win of the season probably. My apologies to their fans lurking here. Mistake on my part, must have gone cross-eyed and missed this game. 

- Northern Colorado 0-11 (W) LMAO, they have some nerve to call our schedule soft

- Webber State 6-5 (L) Lost...murderers row here...

- Idaho St. 3-8 (W) I don't know how they survived this schedule

We all saw the Southern Illinois game...

I'm not saying we're going to win. Hell, I'm not even saying it's gonna be a 1-2 score game. But I'm pretty confident it will NOT be a repeat of 2019 at Montana State. We are a LOT closer to Idaho than we were to Montana State. We've NEVER had a defense like this.

Hilarious...their thread is verbatim Richmond this time last week. There were promises of punching us in the face, taking our lunch money...20 minutes into the game they were going to watch cooking shows. 

In my younger days, I'd register over there and talk $iena...but I refuse to talk $iena with clowns that eat something called Ice cream potatoes. Their life is miserable enough. 

Let's face it, their second best export after potatoes are these three...I'm sure their QB can throw it over the mountain.
