Are there any updates on the injuries to the three staters plus Haney?

Nice win! Shooting 50% from three point land while taking 18 of them certainly helps.

Agree with previous posts, the women will have to play better if they are to move on. On one hand, it is nice to see the women win when one of our leading scorers is shut down. However, we can't expect Freja Werth to go 4 - 4 from three point land each game. At this juncture, I am more hopeful than confident.

A quick turnaround as they head to Binghamton. Binghamton just won their first conference game at UMBC. These rescheduled games give little time for preparation and rest.

Stony Brook has a well rounded team (five players average in double figures). If UAlbany women can stay healthy, they should be in the upper half of the conference at seasons end. The Hartford loss is the one that still really hurts!

Another win at home against CCSU... one area of concern, Kayla Cooper gets to the free throw line more than any other lady Great Dane, however, she has the lowest free throw percentage (currently at 45%). Hope this will improve as the season progresses.

I'd be interested in knowing what the thinking of the coaching staff was in those final five seconds. If they fouled with seven seconds to go, why not use the last foul in the final five seconds? Early on, it appears that everyone must be on their game (including coaches) for this team to win.

It appears Izzy Om is no longer with the program

I believe she was the only senior from last year so we should basically see the same personnel as we did las year.

I would hope Mullen can stay on... I'd like to see her coach another year with this roster and see what she can do. I believe the only person who may leave is Frames (and she may stay another year).

With everything else going on in the UA athletic department, let's not forget that Coach Mullen and the UA women are still competing in the AE tournament!
