  1. Many of the offers have signed elsewhere or on list with offers from MANY schools. Hopefully there are more lineman Offensive. And Defensive. Need a couple of LB's too and Def Backs 247sports is NOT the be all, say all of recruits. Seems many are not on there for some reason.
  2. According to this list UA is recruiting a 5-11 1,484 lb RB. I’m trying to picture that.... w. LMAO. I saw that too. I wonder if it is 184 maybe.
  3. . I am at hunting camp and did not use my season tickets today. Sorry but I truly think you have gone off The deep end with the negativity. There are always positives and after mentioning the negatives a couple of times it is tIme to look at the positives. Offensive coordinator should go obviously. But there is talent on the team and some petty good players red-shirted and few commits already. I am really invested in this program, played for Fordy years ago, have had 3 season tickets for sometime now and donate more than I probably should to FB and I get really pissed at the on-field coaching like you do, BUT, there are positives as well. All I'm saying. Time to talk about them
  4. I want to ammend my earlier comment in that Coach Clark does not deserve the vitriol. His bunch is the only group doing anything. I stand behind the rest of my comment. Broke my thumb on the pile-up after that play!!!!!!!!
  5. Sorry but despite the awful year I cannot agree with some of the points you have made. There actually ARE guys in the pipeline. Two GREAT Offensive linemen who will clearly help a line with a year or maturation. if Hanks is back that will help the Offense. With a running back who goes north and south the passing game will improve. Of course a different QB is definitely needed. Others have freshman starting so why not us?? We have a good one coming in and who knows about Testeverde. Yes there will be losses on defense. There are good players who are redshirted on the defense too. We absolutely need a new Offensive coordinator NOW. Gatusso is NOT an offensive guy and play calling is terrible. Decisions that are made are not good. We'll see. Not saying Gatusso should go or stay but............... It is not in full retreat.
  6. To get an idea of who they may be after>> https://albany.247sports.com/Season/2018-Football/Targets A bunch of running backs!! No Defensive tackles. Very few offensive linemen. I doubt this is the entire list though. At least I hope it is not.
  7. He is 6" 3" 187 lbs. We NEED guys his size back there. He’s also their QB. If you can get Spectrum Sports Hub you can stream their next game on Saturday evening. Newburgh in the state AA semis. The verbally committed QB is Jeff Undercuffler out of NJ 6' 6' 220 lbs http://www.burlingtoncountytimes.com/d6cff608-5bac-11e7-bd20-f7470d5b2f9b.html Should have been clearer. Joe Casale is also QB at Troy. I know about Undercuffler. Hey we need a better QB - Maybe one of these guys - maybe Testeverde Who knows. Brunson is not the answer
  8. Offer made to >> DeJuan Dandridge Safety 6' 1" 185 lbs St. Joseph's, Philadelphia, PA http://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/dejuan-dandridge/2pZF_ebkEeS-8KA2nzwbTA/default.htm https://www.facebook.com/dejuan.dandridge The only other school with an offer right now is Massachusetts
  9. We have made an offer to >> Running back Ignacion Reynoso, Wilson (Reading, PA) 5'11" 210 lbs.
  10. He is 6" 3" 187 lbs. We NEED guys his size back there. He’s also their QB. If you can get Spectrum Sports Hub you can stream their next game on Saturday evening. Newburgh in the state AA semis. 11. 247 sports says he had 5 offers including both Army and Navy. Monmouth too. But he committed verbally to Albany https://scout.com/high-school/pennsylvania/Article/Penn-Preps-Top-Ten-OG-Kobe-Thomas-Chooses-Albany-108106486
  12. Local kid Niko Culnan 6'3 287 lbs Center, Colonie, NY - attends HVCC he committed - nice!
  13. Kobe Thomas. OG out of Allentown, Pa (Parkland) Offensive Guard HT 6-2 WT 263 Class OF 18 - smaller than most they have gone after. Hope he has quick feet http://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/kobe-thomas/iEMHKfsYEeS-8KA2nzwbTA/default.htm https://twitter.com/kobethomas34 He committed- NICE!
  14. Another commit >> Ian Renninger Pottsville Area (Pottsville, PA) TE 6-6 and 225 lbs https://247sports.com/player/ian-renninger-46037663 https://twitter.com/Ianren81
  15. QB Jeff Undercuffler 2017 videos are on the net. Big strong kid. I am NOT a QB or Offensive coach but looks strong to me!
  16. I am as big a fan as anybody, having played for Coach Ford years ago and I have had season tickets for a while now. I gotta say the jump to the CAA was a HUGE jump - I know some of Coaches that were with Ford for years - played with a couple. They were expecting a difference but were still somewhat surprised in the difference in speed and athleticism that came with that step up. 20 more scholarships makes a HUGE difference! Nuff said Having said all of that I gotta say they need a new offensive Coordinator. Other teams in the league have first year coaches working with mostly the same teams as played last year and were successful. No question the play calling was very suspect at best. Brunson is obviously not the answer at QB. Need someone who is consistant, has a better arm and throws well - other teams have freshman who are better. BUT the O line will be better next year with the experience and with the two red-shirts probably starting. They need a couple of new guys to come in who are BIG but who have fast feet - the guys we have now are BIG but their feet are slow. First I have heard about the Hanks thing - he is a different caliber runner than Mofor - sorry to say it but that is obvious. THAT will be a huge loss if true. Jeff Undercuffler from NJ, who has committed at QB, is huge 6'6" and 220. No idea about his arm but there are videos. Need a couple of the red shirt defensive players to be studs or for a couple of new guys or Jr college guys to come in who are studs.
  17. Gatusa Keeps saying he is building a program - these are all his guys. Delaware coach FIRST YEAR in that program - left Richmond - winner with same guys that had losing seasons. It is coaching folks!
  18. Defense can NOT be on the field the entire game and hold them in check. Offense is terrible. Sorry but Brunson is just terrible. Guys wide open, Overthrowing again. of course mcDonald dropped like 4 passes and there were bad routes again. Offensive coaches are a JOKE. PERIOD> Glas hunting season is opening next Saturday so I can enjoy myself for the day
  19. Finding so little information on fall ball, new players interacting, Stone Simms - is he hurt?
  20. Team played a much better game today. The OL was better, except on a couple of plays - GOT to get their feet moving. Team played well over-all. IRemember SB was 6 - 2 coming in 6-1 league. The announcers were VERY fair most of them, even gave Albany props several times.
  21. The plays are designed to the flat Eli - not checking down. Just dumb. Need some play action to pull the secondary in a little so the WR can get a few yards.
