  1. This all sounds awesome...great I idea! Man, I just love this site...lol
  2. I personally had never known of any "bad rap" that Levi might have had regarding his attitude. When I get the chance (and hoping that I don't bother them..lol) I try to make small talk with some of the players on campus, wishing them good luck and asking about the upcoming games. Of all the men's players that I have talked to, Levi was BY FAR the nicest. We talked for a good 5 minutes in the middle of the busy Campus Center about the Siena game and UAlbany's low ranking in the pre-season poll. So yes, it's always poor when a player gets a T (especially two in one game). But I agree that it has all been blown out of proportion on his. And I jam just adding to it...lol. Dumb me.
  3. It's good to see that the Athletics Department scheduled a bus to take UAlbany student fans to the game in New Haven for a total cost (transportation and admission) of only $5. Unfortunately the bus leaves the RACC at 3:30pm today and many students (including myself) can't afford to miss classes that they have this late afternoon or evening, as it is into the last full week of classes for this semester. But best of luck to the ladies for a convincing defeat of Yale and strong showing (hopeful upset?) of powerhouse Minnesota. LET'S GO DANES!!
  4. I agree that this loss against Lehigh wasn't as heart breaking as a win against them would have been a nice upset, but I find it interesting justifying Lehigh's win by their NCAA Tournament status last year. Although I wasn't at the UAlbany vs. Lehigh game last year (as I was home for winter break) and therefore don't know too much about the specifics, I do see that we actually beat them in overtime by a decent amount (63-55). So we beat a team last year that made it into the big dance with a our own much lower quality and much more depleated team. It just shows how important those free throws, the poor rebounding, and the costly fouls all were.
  5. It's nice to see another convincing win for the ladies. Also, although the men could have certainly been 3-1 (and even 4-0) at this point and the women were very close to being 4-0, it is nice to see that their combined record is 5-3 compared to their 2-6 mark last year after each team's first 4 games. I hope to see a good turn out Saturday at HVCC. I have two 10+ page finals and a presentation due on the following Tuesday, but I plan on being there to scream my lungs out.
  6. Although it sounded (I listened to the game on the radio) as if the refs were a bit touchy on the foul calls against Albany, I think Coach Brown is going to have a fun week of practice with these guys on free throws (13-22, I think), and rebounds (didn't hear the final number but it sounded like we got blown out on the boards after Levi's 2 T). At least Locious had another great game and it sounded as if Jamar had some pretty lay-ups. Nice opening second half run again by Albany, 4th game in a row for that.
  7. I know it is early in the season and he only has 2 games under his belt so far this year, but it is kinda cool to see Jamar as tied for 7th in the nation for assists per game. SI.com Assist Leaders
  8. Thanks for the heads up. It'll give me a couple more sites to stare at for hours each day.
  9. What site are you all looking at for the up-to-date RPI Rankings? I've found a good Pomeroy one but that's it. PS - In hopes of stating my legitmacy on this great site with all you awesome fans: I was the student at the Albany-Siena game in the UA floor section with the purple and gold face and big yellow/gold wig.
