2005 Recruiting???

Now that the Danes got the Connelly kid who is 6'8 what else are the needs and how many scholarships left to recruit with for this class??

 

All the Danes lose are Wyatt and St. Hillaire which are two front court players.

I'm pretty sure there are two scholarships open for next year. Connelly takes one and the other should go to another big guy-hopefully a center. With everyone that should be back next year they could probably red-shirt one of next years recruits.

With Wyatt and "Q" finishing up this year I would imagine we have 2 scholarships to give. With one going to Connelly I think the staff should go for another 4/5 type, hopefully 6'7" or bigger. The bigger the better if he can play.

 

The problem with real Bigs is very few 6'10"+ types slip past the Majors and those that do land in the strong Mid Major programs. It's either grab a project ( more likely than not they won't develop into a stud) or hold the scholarship and get a transfer.
