Danes beat Siena in soccer

Recommended Posts

Albany won with an overtime goal yesterday afternoon to beat $iena 1-0. Coundoul extends his shutout streak to 415 minutes. Don't know if anyone was there but it sounds like it was an exciting game with several cards and an ejection.

I'm not sure how they figure out when to schedule things but this would have been a great game to have on Saturday afternoon instead of Friday. They could have done something similar to the Spring Stomp by featuring games in a couple of different sports (in this case soccer and football). I really don't know if alot of people would have gone today but I know I would have. In fact I think UA should consider scheduling more of the Albany-Siena games in various sports during times alumni can attend and promote those games. I like that Albany's volleyball game with Siena is on a Tuesday night so I can go.

couldn't agree more ... i'm not a fan of soccer, excluding PS2 FIFA, but for a matchup w/ the kids from loudonville ... i may have found the time ... congratulations to the team for winning "the most important game of their season"
