Dane Pound
This question comes to mind because alot of the preseason college basketball magazines are out. Sixth is the highest I've seen Albany picked with a few sevens and some last place picks. Hopefully they are way off.
reeder
Vermont and BU are clearly the class of the AE. Maine will also be good, although they lose Dobson, they still have Flavin and Reed - I think Markwood will play better this year as well. Binghamton will be very good as well - two big guys. If they can get some good perimeter play, they can compete with anyone in the conference. Northeastern will also be very good - not sure if they will be able to win it all with Barea there - he will need to share the ball with Barnes and Davis. I think UA will be better than the other conference teams. They will finish in the top 4 or 5 depending on how the big guys play. From a personnel perspective, can Dyson or Brent Wilson play well in conference? From a coaching perspective, can Brown manage the minutes and keep everyone happy?
