Siena radio spot

Recommended Posts

I just heard my first (and certainly not the last) "we love our saints" radio commercial, and I must say the rhetoric is toned down considerably. Instead of the obnoxious "we'll show them who the top dog is", the line is something like "can the saints make it 4 in a row over cross town rival Albany, or is this the year the streak ends" Sounds like just maybe they think we can win.

I suppose it could be that after last year's 20 point spread they're trying to make it sound more competitive to sell more tickets. I know the $iena-Syracuse game is well on it's way to selling out but I haven't heard any sales projections for this game yet.

You may be right though about them possibly being more guarded about possibly losing this year's game, some of Lanier's quotes have leant themselves to that interpretation as well.
