Baseball Field

I have noticed they are working on the baseball field. I assume that shortly Heritage Park will no longer be available. Does anyone know exactly what improvements are intended for the baseball field?

I think they are just moving the left-field fence out deeper because the field is a bandbox. Whether they are using the same wire fence or putting in something new (aka, a "Purple Monster"), I have no idea. I am pretty sure the Danes have played their last game at Heritage Park. The complex is supposedly being torn down shortly.

The fact sheet from last spring's fundraiser kickoff listed as capital improvement needs "extend left field playing area, infield tarp, new exterior fence with padding" for $50-$75K, and later "seating area with press box, restrooms, PA" $150-$200K.

 

It looks like they're moving the bullpens behind the outfield fence
