I'm sure you saw that AE foe Boston U beat Michigan at Michigan yesterday - and for what it's worth, is ranked 60 in the latest Sagarin Ratings.

 

This will be quite an early new year matchup at home (1/2/05).

I think BU is where Albany is headed - in terms of there program. They truly have a good program there. Kids graduate, they get young kids in and bring them along and they are always competitive.

BU's win was great for the conference. There should be a nice buzz about them when the come into the RACC in a couple of weeks. That should translate into local interest, bigger crowd and a better atmosphere. The Danes have played BU tough when they were unmanned so this would be a great chance to break through although it's still down the road a bit.

 

I'm not sure why Siena scheduled Vermont this year. Seems like a pretty clever move considering all the national attention the Catamounts have gotten so far this seasn (and preseason). Perhaps a little gamesmanship on their behalf by bringing the most hyped team in our conference into town before we do.

We should care less about BU or about Vermont/Siena.

 

Right now we should concentrate on Villanova and Syracuse and getting better as a team - so we are prepared to make a good showing at home vs Darthmouth.

 

Then Boston U enters the picture in 2005.

 

I would love to see us match or surpass last years win total before our next Conference game.
